The Art of Service Pty Ltd, in Brisbane, makes Cutoff Promise Checker for the owner-operator of a small Australian store who packs and posts every order. It turns a dispatch cutoff, a carrier transit table and a list of postcodes into a suburb by suburb verdict, a corrected cutoff clock per zone, and an audit of the promise already written on the store's own page.
The tool answers a weekly job. A broken delivery promise is one of the most common complaint drivers for a small store, and no owner has time to audit an order cutoff against a carrier matrix by hand. Cutoff Promise Checker does the arithmetic over the carrier's published times and the store's own promise, and says plainly where the fast promise holds and where it does not.
How is the transit table built?
The table is built once, at build time, from the carriers' and aggregators' published speed and coverage pages. Each zone carries the carrier service tier it names and the business-day range that tier publishes, and the table is dated with the day it was read. Where a carrier publishes a range, the map uses the slower end, so a next-day verdict is only given where the whole range supports it. The seed is refreshed by a script, so a change to a carrier's published times is a deliberate step and not a silent drift.
What does the tool not do?
It does not guarantee a delivery date. It does not track a parcel, chase a carrier, refund a delivery fee, set shipping rates, book a pickup or print a label, and it does not read live orders or customer records. The transit times are estimates the carrier excludes from a guarantee, and the map words every arrival as an assumption.
